Kreiml & Samurai
Hip hop on the most important stage in the German-speaking world? And in dialect to boot? Isn't that sacrilege? Not when the rappers are Kreiml & Samurai. They like to say: "It's the lyrics that count, not the vocabulary." On their six albums to date, they show how much they enjoy playing with words in Viennese dialect. They presented their latest album "Ranz oder gar nicht" to an enthusiastic crowd in the Vienna Arena. But the duo don't just make their art for a die-hard crowd of fans. With their song "Wiener", they were able to score a kind of crossover hit that also delighted hip-hop fans.
