Prater Picnic of the Wiener Symphoniker

Vienna traditionally celebrates the end of school and the start of the summer vacations in the Prater. The big Prater picnic for the whole family on the Kaiserwiese in front of the Giant Ferris Wheel is a concert of good humor with free admission.

While the audience enjoys drinks and food brought along on picnic blankets, this year Turkish pop star Mustafa Ceceli performs alongside soprano Annette Dasch. The chief conductor of the Beethovenorchester Bonn, Dirk Kaftan, will be the musical director. The concert is also the opening of the Vienna Summer of Culture.
